Find quick answers to common questions about Wavy payments.
How do I create a payment link?
Creating a payment link is simple. Visit Create Payment Link on our site, enter the amount you want to collect, and share the link via WhatsApp or any other platform. Your customers can pay without downloading any app.
How long does it take to receive payments?
Payments settle directly to your bank account within 24 hours. Once a customer completes payment, you'll see confirmation right away. Money moves fast — no delays, no middlemen.
What payment methods can customers use?
Customers can pay using bank transfer, mobile money, or debit card. They simply click the payment link and choose their preferred method. We support all major Nigerian payment channels for maximum flexibility.
Is there a limit to how much I can collect?
You can create payment links for any amount. There's no daily collection limit. Your account limits may increase based on your business activity and verification level.
How much does Wavy cost?
Wavy charges ₦50 for payments up to ₦10,000, and 1% (maximum ₦1,000) for payments above ₦10,000. That's it. No hidden fees, no surprise charges. Money goes straight to your bank account.
What if a customer doesn't receive payment confirmation?
Share the payment reference or receipt link from your payment success page or vendor dashboard. If a customer doesn't receive a WhatsApp confirmation, they can still confirm from their bank statement and the transaction reference. We provide receipt and reference details for easy support follow-up.
How do I check a transaction status?
Use your Vendor Dashboard to view transaction status, references, and receipts in one place.
Is my data secure with Wavy?
Yes. All data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Wavy never stores your full bank details beyond what's needed for verification. We are designed mobile-first and privacy-first. See our security page for full details.
